Will a future version allow us to map fields for an import?

When I choose to Import Into Table, and choose a CSV file, I am not offered a two-column display of fields, where one column shows fields from the Source file and the other column shows fields from the Target Table. A typical import display like this would allow me to move fields around so I can map how data will come into the table during the import. Right now, data imports in the field order present in the Source file, and fails to import at all if there are more fields in the Target Table than are in the Source File.
